Dr Sophie Flavell is a Consultant Physician and Aesthetic Doctor with nearly 20 years’ experience in medicine. She set up ELERA Clinic to offer aesthetic care that is thoughtful, personal and medically led. Her focus is on subtle results and helping people age well while still looking like themselves.

Sophie has always valued building trusted relationships with her patients and taking the time to understand what matters to them. She believes aesthetics should be about small, considered changes rather than trying to change someone’s appearance. Her approach is grounded in safe, evidence-based practice and careful assessment. Sometimes the right treatment is very little at all.

Alongside ELERA, Sophie works as a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine in the NHS and is Training Programme Director for Genitourinary Medicine in the East Midlands. She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008 and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2012. Following her general medical and specialist training in London, she moved to the East Midlands. She also holds a Master’s in Medical Education, graduating with Distinction in 2015.

Sophie has undertaken extensive training in aesthetic medicine, including advanced courses with award-winning aesthetic training academies. She undertakes ongoing education and training to keep her knowledge and skills up to date with developments in aesthetic medicine. Sophie is registered with the General Medical Council and fully insured for her aesthetic practice.

At ELERA, she offers anti-wrinkle injections from £195, anti-sweat injections from £375 and dermal fillers from £245. She also offers a range of skin treatments from £250, including skin boosters, Profhilo and polynucleotides, chosen according to each person’s skin and what they are hoping to achieve.

Appointments take place at Wellspring on Thursdays. Sophie offers a free, no-obligation consultation before treatment, giving you time to talk through what you would like to achieve and whether treatment is right for you. Appointments are calm and unrushed, with no pressure to proceed, and treatment is only recommended where she feels it is appropriate.
