The Art of Slow: Yoga & Crafting
WORKSHOP SUMMARY
A calm, feel-good morning combining gentle yoga, mindful crafting, and relaxed social time. Move, create, and unwind as you enjoy a peaceful, nurturing experience from start to finish.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Step into a calm, nourishing morning designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and create. This gentle workshop blends mindful movement with hands-on creativity, offering space to unwind both physically and mentally in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
You’ll begin with a gentle yoga flow, easing tension from the body and settling into the breath. The practice will gradually transition into a guided meditation, followed by a subtle touch of sound to leave you feeling deeply relaxed and restored. This part of the workshop is suitable for all levels, with options and guidance throughout.
After yoga, we move into a relaxed, social crafting session where you’ll create your own boho-style dried flower wreath. With guidance and a beautiful selection of natural materials, you’ll design a piece to take home as a lasting reminder of the morning.
To finish, enjoy tea and cake in a calm, friendly setting — a chance to chat, reflect, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

Sarah Birbeck
YOUR TEACHER
Sarah began practicing yoga over five years ago, quickly developing a deep passion after experiencing the sense of peace and balance it brought to both body and mind. Having undergone scoliosis correction surgery at a young age, she was left with limited spinal flexibility, an experience that led her to explore yoga as a pathway to healing, resilience, and self-acceptance.
This personal journey has shaped Sarah’s approach to teaching, inspiring a style of yoga that is inclusive, supportive, and accessible to all, regardless of experience, ability, or body type. She now teaches both Hatha and Yin Yoga, with a focus on mindful movement, breath awareness, and creating a welcoming space where each individual can connect with their own unique practice.
