Trupti Patel
Trupti Patel is an experienced therapist specialising in trauma, low self-esteem, burnout and ADHD. With over 14 years’ experience across NHS, academic and private settings, she offers thoughtful, tailored therapy that combines evidence-based approaches with a warm, active and neuro-affirming style.

Trupti is an experienced therapist with a particular interest in trauma, low self-esteem, burnout and ADHD. She has spent over 14 years supporting people with their mental health across NHS, academic and private settings, developing a specialist understanding of how these difficulties can overlap and influence one another.
Her approach is active, collaborative and tailored to the individual. Rather than simply listening, Trupti works alongside her clients to understand what is happening, recognise patterns that may no longer be helpful and create meaningful, lasting change. She believes therapy should be a space where people feel understood, supported and able to explore difficult things without judgement.
Trupti is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She also draws on approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and body-based techniques where these may be helpful.
She has extensive experience supporting people following childhood trauma, abusive relationships, assault, accidents, bereavement, workplace and faith-related trauma, as well as helping people experiencing burnout, low self-esteem and the challenges associated with ADHD.
Trupti takes a neuro-affirming, queer-affirming and culturally sensitive approach, recognising that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Sessions are shaped around the individual, their circumstances and what they want to achieve.
With her warm, down-to-earth style and genuine passion for this area of work, Trupti aims to create a space where clients can slow down, understand themselves more deeply and begin to move towards a life that feels more like their own.
