Class Description

An immersive half-day retreat experience exploring movement, sound, resonance and deep rest. Join Liz of reaLIZe Wellbeing for a unique afternoon inspired by the practices of Nāda Yoga (the yogic science of sound) within the Gitananda yoga tradition, where breath, movement and sound are woven together to create an experience that is both grounding and uplifting. Through breath-led movement, vocal sound practices, guided exploration and immersive relaxation, we'll discover how sound can support focus, presence, energy, connection and deep rest. Rather than simply listening to sound, you'll be invited to experience how vibration and resonance can be felt throughout the body and integrated into yoga practice. Together we'll explore: • Breath-led movement and conscious breathing practices • Sound and vibrational techniques within yoga • Shared sound practices from the Gitananda yogic tradition • Gentle exploration of mantra, kīrtan and bhajan • A full-length immersive sound bath for deep relaxation and restoration Many of the practices integrate sound directly into movement and posture, creating an experience that can feel simultaneously energising, centring and deeply immersive. Working with rhythm, pulsation and resonance, we'll explore the powerful relationship between breath, sound and awareness. This afternoon offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional yogic approaches to sound in an accessible and welcoming environment. Some practices will incorporate Sanskrit mantra and classical yogic sounds as part of an authentic exploration of Nāda Yoga, while remaining open and accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you're completely new to yoga, curious about sound-based practices, or looking to deepen an existing practice, all are welcome. No singing experience is required. Cancellation Policy

Booking Policy All classes must be booked in advance via our booking system. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space. Classes have limited capacity and may sell out. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class start time. Cancellations made within 12 hours or no-shows will be charged in full. Class credits will only be returned for cancellations made within the cancellation window. Course spaces are booked as a full block and cannot be partially refunded once the course has started. Due to limited spaces, missed sessions cannot be transferred to other classes unless stated otherwise. Participants should ensure they are medically fit to take part in strength-based exercise.
